Steffen Gay is Professor and Director of the WHO Collaborating Center for Molecular Biology and Novel Therapeutic
Strategies for Rheumatic Diseases, Rheumatology Clinic, University Hospital Zurich.
The major interest of the center is at present the molecular and cellular basis of joint destruction,
involving especially the search for novel genes and their signaling pathways ("Functional Genomics").

Pierre Miossec is Professor of Clinical Immunology at the University of Lyon and physician at the Edouard Herriot
Hospital. He is also the Director of a Research Unit on Immunogenomics and Inflammation.
His research interests include inflammatory cytokines and the identification of markers of response to biotherapies in arthritis.

Francis Berenbaum is Professor and Head of the Department of Rheumatology at the CHU Saint-Antoine, Paris.
He is President-Elect of the Board of Directors of the Osteoarthritis Research Society International and
Coordinator of the French Program Research on Bone and Joint Diseases.
The major interest of his research team at CNRS/Paris VI University is on cartilage biology and inflammation in osteoarthritis.

Cem Gabay is Professor and Head of the Division of Rheumatology at the University Hospitals of Geneva.
His is Vice President of the Swiss Society of Rheumatology and of the Swiss Clinical Quality management program.
The major interest of his research group is on rheumatoid arthritis, involving the characterization of
inflammatory mechanisms in experimental models and clinical studies on the Swiss cohort of patients with
inflammatory rheumatic diseases.

Robert-Pascal FONTANET is master of law and a notary public in Geneva.
He is a member of the "Bureau de la Chambre des notaires de Genève", founder and still an active member of the "Comité notarial transfrontalier (CNT)", the swiss notary net-work "swisNot" and the "Groupe international patrimoine et entreprise (GIPE)".
His favorite areas of interest are international private law, fiscal, estate planning and family patrimony law.
